Rev. Ralph J. Chittams, Sr. is the catalyst behind the Black Elephant Consultants, LLC brand. His vision and passion for ensuring the blessing of liberty and religious freedom to future generations is the fuel that drives this Washington, DC based consultancy. With his leadership and the stellar team he has assembled, BEC is poised to address the chasm between the burgeoning Black Christian conservative movement seeking to protect and defend their Constitutional rights; members of that community seeking elected office; public officials who enact legislation affecting those liberties; and the methodology, mechanisms and inner workings of public policy and political process.
Rev. Chittams is a graduate of Howard University (BA, Political Science), the Maple Springs Baptist Bible College and Seminary (Master of Arts in Biblical Studies), and the Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity). He was born and raised in New York City. He has been active in Republican Party politics since 1988, and is a former Senior Vice Chairman of the Washington, DC GOP. Rev. Chittams is well versed in media having spoken at key press conferences at the National Press Club and other seminal events on Capitol Hill and nationwide. He hosts his own daily Internet radio “The Right Guys” on SHRMedia. He is a regular contributor on NewsOne Now with Roland Martin and Lion Chasers with Lonnie Poindexter.
